Community Outreach

As a Christian Catholic Community the value of service plays an important part at Holy Family School.  Each year the students and staff do a project for the Second Harvest Food Bank.  Donations of paper products, canned goods, other non-perishable items and a monetary gift are given to this organization to help the less fortunate.

This year the students will be doing the Jump for Heart.  The money collected will be used to further research to find a cure for this disease.

Students in grades 4-8 are encouraged to participate in the Pride Point Project.  Students may receive points for volunteering their services to their church, school, and community.  Thirty hours of service is asked of the students throughout the year.

Our senior citizens are important to us so time is made during the school year to visit the Nursing Homes in our area.  The students have a program for them and then share some time by talking and playing BINGO with them.

Our families and community friends are always invited to share a Prayer Service with us for Veterans Day, and during the season of Lent.

During the Christmas season the children reach out to an organization in the community to help the less fortunate with a variety of clothes, and other items they may need.'
