FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST

Dear Parents,

I welcome your child into the first grade. Some items that your child is required to bring are the following:

1 pair of scissors

1 package of #2 pencils

1 glue-stick

1 bottle of Elmer's glue

1 box of 24 Crayola crayons

1 good eraser

1 roll of paper towels

3 boxes of Kleenex

2 Two pocket folders (bottom pockets on both sides please)

1 homework book (school issue), which may be purchased in the school office

1 zippered bag to contain their crayons, glue, etc**

Markers are not required but may be used. If you wish to purchase markers please, purchase broad tip ones.

**Many banks will give them to you free of charge or for a minimal fee. Usually those from banks last for many years. I find them to be more conventional and easier to store in the desk.

Please do not purchase pencil sharpeners, binders, notebooks, or rulers. The students will be supplied with rulers and we have pencil sharpeners in the classroom. Please make sure your child's name is on all school supplies and on the labels of all articles of clothing. Thank you.
